Xbox listened to players: the first feature from Player Voice has been added
Microsoft launched the Xbox Player Voice program, and just three days after its start, the company implemented the first community-suggested feature. As part of an update, Xbox changed how in-game time is displayed - it now shows in hours, not days.
Initially, players actively requested the return of major exclusives, but Microsoft has not yet fulfilled this demand. Nevertheless, the launch of Xbox Player Voice has already shown that the company genuinely responds to feedback.
The new change concerns game time statistics. From now on, users will see the exact number of hours spent in a game. Previously, the system displayed time in days, which caused dissatisfaction among some of the audience.
Players have long noted that the hours format is more convenient and allows for more accurate progress tracking and data comparison across platforms.
The speed of Microsoft's reaction drew particular attention: the company implemented the change just three days after the program's launch. Amid frequent complaints about major publishers ignoring feedback, this step has been received positively.
Now players are waiting to see if Xbox will continue to respond just as quickly to larger community requests, including the return of strong exclusives.
