In late May, Blizzard Entertainment announced the start of the 14th ranked season in Diablo II: Resurrected. Players are once again invited to compete and immortalize their names in the leaderboards.
As before, the 14th season is available in several modes, which differ in their conditions of passage:
- "No Expansion" — Normal ranked game mode, including only the four classic campaign acts.
- "Hardcore No Expansion" — One-life mode, including only the four classic campaign acts.
- "Normal" — Normal ranked game mode, including five campaign acts, including Lord of Destruction expansion content.
- "Hardcore" — One-life mode, the player must complete five campaign acts, including Lord of Destruction content.
The developers talked about the changes in update 3.2 for Diablo II: Resurrected. For example, now Warlocks who hold a grimoire in one hand can only wield a two-handed weapon in the other. Also, the effectiveness of Warlock health potions has been increased from 100 to 150%.
