Recently, the creators of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced found themselves under fire again. This time, the reason was a post by a user under the nickname BRATOR.
He drew the community's attention to the fact that in the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake, the animation of a drunk Edward Kenway looks different — instead of elaborate movements, a simple camera shake effect is used:
Ubisoft. You ruined it. You still have a chance to fix it. Why did you replace a whole animation with camera shake? The original Assassin's Creed Black was better because it had moments like this.
A comparison video is available at the following link — in the original Black Flag, a drunk Edward on the loading screen walked with a bottle and swayed.
However, the latest “cancel campaign” did not last very long. Ubisoft noticed the discussion, and the franchise's account published a video with the characteristic title “Edward_Drunk_LoadingScreen_CORRECT_VIDEO.mp4”.
The developers showed the authentic animation of the hero with a bottle in his hands and corresponding movements.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is scheduled for release on July 9, 2026.
