Recently, Game Informer journalists gained access to a pre-release version of Gothic 1 Remake. The publication's YouTube channel released 20 minutes of gameplay.
They offer players a look at the Swamp Camp and its surroundings, as well as an assessment of the combat mechanics, including archery and melee combat.

For Kai Rosenkranz, the composer of the Gothic 1 Remake soundtrack, it was extremely important to complement the Brotherhood's updated visual style with a richer and more immersive sound. The goal was to create a perfect harmony between the camp's vibrant new visuals and its soundscape – while carefully preserving the distinctive, atmospheric spirit of the original game.
