While Sony is preparing a major marketing campaign with Take-Two, Xbox unexpectedly reminded about the release: Microsoft is already urging players to add the project to their wish list.

Publisher Take-Two officially confirmed that GTA VI will be released on November 19, 2026. For players, this is currently the main news about the game, as Rockstar has not yet shown a new trailer, revealed the price, or announced the start date for pre-orders.

A full-fledged marketing campaign is expected to start in the summer. According to sources, PlayStation will be the main partner for promoting GTA VI and will also showcase PS5 bundles with the game.

However, Microsoft decided to take advantage of the situation. While Sony awaits the official launch of Take-Two's campaign, the Xbox division reminded its audience that the biggest release of the year will also be available on Xbox Series X|S.
