The Stop Killing Games initiative, aimed at preserving games, has gathered over 1.2 million verified signatures. In May, during a discussion in the European Parliament, a Slovak MEP spoke, whose speech attracted the attention of the gaming community.

Milan Uhrik spoke about the problems of modern games:

Agenda and aggressive monetization are destroying video games. You wanted to discuss in the European Parliament what is destroying video games? Well, I'll tell you straight: one of the main reasons is the radical agenda ideology and political correctness that are being imposed on games.

As an example, Milan cited Assassin's Creed Shadows. If a user wants to play as a samurai, they will have to choose the dark-skinned Yasuke, and the other available character is a woman:

For example, if you want to play as a samurai, you would logically expect to see a Japanese warrior, not be forced to play as a dark-skinned character or a woman, as was recently the case in Assassin's Creed. Or when you are offered to play as a ["diverse"] character with no alternative. This is really a problem for players.

Milan Uhrik also specifically noted the problem of aggressive monetization – some elements resemble casino gambling:

Another thing destroying video games is aggressive monetization methods: endless microtransactions, insane pay-to-win ["pay-to-win" elements], and even loot boxes resembling casino gambling. This must end, as must the practice of companies shutting down servers shortly after a game is purchased.

The MEP noted that he himself is an experienced gamer and fully supports other players:

We want fair games and we don't want to be cheated.
