Player feedback has been heard. Ghost Ship Games is preparing a series of fixes for the roguelike shooter.

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core recently launched in early access. The game received "mixed" reviews from players on Steam.

Ghost Ship Games studio responded to the feedback and acknowledged that the roguelike shooter has issues. They highlighted the "big three" key reasons for player complaints: the "timer" mechanic, insufficient ammunition, and the co-op upgrade selection system.

The developers of Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core explained that fixing these things affects many aspects of the game, so they need time to prepare the update:

We are working on how to solve each of the identified problems. However, each of them significantly affects gameplay and balance, so we need time to think everything through and implement the necessary changes.

The authors of Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core also published a roadmap for the project's development in the game's Steam community. They plan to add new weapons and artifacts, a "reroll" system, and a flying enemy.

The second update is expected to include new enemies, including a boss, as well as additional events. In the future, the developers will expand the hub and rework the timer, continuing to expand players' arsenal.

The game's trailer is available at the following link.
