In May 2026, the Blood and Wine DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will celebrate its first anniversary. The developers decided to mark the milestone and announced a special stream.
CD Projekt RED addressed the community on social media:
Toussaint. The land of wine and love. In May, The Witcher 3's "Blood and Wine" expansion turns 10. And we want to celebrate it in a manner worthy of the venerable Duchess's name. We're returning to the land of valor, wine, and vampires in a new episode of REDstreams!
The broadcast will be available on YouTube and Twitch — it is scheduled to begin on May 28, 6:00 PM Moscow time.
In recent months, rumors and "insider information" have been actively circulating online that CD Projekt RED plans to return to The Witcher 3 and release a Ciri expansion for the game before the release of The Witcher 4. Some players in the comments to the post are urging the developers to make an announcement during the stream:
Hmm, this would be a good time to announce, well, I don't even know, for example, a new expansion?
At least one Ciri DLC is currently in development — a modder is preparing an extended version of a story modification about the heroine's adventures for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
