In May, another round of price increases for the PlayStation Plus subscription took place in various regions. Shortly thereafter, Sony began sending out surveys to players about the quality of the service provided.
For example, the company asks players how satisfied they are with such benefits and features of the subscription as:
- Online multiplayer mode (on PlayStation, paid multiplayer in premium games)
- Access to subscription games
- Discounts in the PlayStation Store
- Share Play — in this mode, the game screen is displayed on another user's screen. The viewer can simply watch or control the game.
- 100 GB of cloud storage for saves
- Total subscription price
Players are asked to rate on a scale from "extremely dissatisfied" to "extremely satisfied" or choose the "not used" option.
This year, Xbox revised its offer and pricing policy for Game Pass, so conceptually, this Sony survey about PlayStation Plus seems logical. However, an ironic situation arises: first, prices were raised, and only then did they decide to inquire whether customers were satisfied with the current offer or if something needed to be changed.
