Recently, PC gamers remembered Empire Earth again. The reason was the release of Rebellion studio, which decided to bring back classic strategies for sale. Now three games are available on Valve's service and (at least for now) even in Russia, although the publisher stopped selling its other projects in the region:

First released in 2001, during the golden age of real-time strategy, Empire Earth instantly became a hit in the genre. It was also one of the fastest-selling strategies of its time: by the time Empire Earth II was released in 2005, over 2 million copies had been sold. The final installment in the series, Empire Earth III, was released in 2007.

Now players can add Empire Earth: Gold Edition, Empire Earth II: Gold Edition, and Empire Earth III to their Steam library — several campaigns are available:

The Empire Earth series allows you to guide a nascent civilization through the entire course of history, creating an empire capable of dominating the Earth. Starting from the most humble beginnings, you will have to carefully manage natural resources if you want to prosper. As you advance through time, you will discover new technologies, buildings, and weapons — but remember: development does not always mean success. Your civilization may flourish in one era and become merely history in the next.

There's a nuance: the developers warned that since official multiplayer servers are disabled, online play is no longer possible.
