The creators of the real-time strategy game Tempest Rising announced a new promotion at the end of May. They launched an open beta test for new content.
Players will be able to get acquainted with the game content within the “Veti Multiplayer Public Beta” – there is no need to buy the strategy to participate in the test – access is provided for free.
Beta participants are offered three playable factions: GSO (Global Security Organization), Tempest Dynasty, and the new addition – Veti. You can play on all 26 existing multiplayer maps in three modes ("quick play", skirmish, and custom matches).
The Tempest Rising page on Steam is available at the following link. The free access promotion for the strategy will last until June 10, 2026.
The trailer for the new Veti faction can be watched here.
Testers are invited to try out multiplayer, but the game also includes single-player content:
Take on the role of a commander of the mobile forward peacekeeping corps of the Global Security Forces or the mighty and desperate Tempest Dynasty in 2 campaigns of 11 missions each. Customize your army for each mission separately, because, among other things, you need to take control of the mysterious but extremely useful Tempest vines, which are becoming more and more numerous on war-torn Earth. Many other dangers lurk in the shadows... and you also have to find out where the Tempest came from.
