The creators of Skyblivion recently reminded everyone of their project. The developers of the fan remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, based on the TES V: Skyrim engine, published a new selection of screenshots on social media.

At the end of May, the Skyblivion team noted a "huge achievement" – the modders announced that they had "completed and fully tested all Ayleid Ruins" and added that "soon players will be able to explore the remains of the Ayleid Empire."

From the lore perspective of Oblivion, Ayleid Ruins are "ancient cities of the Ayleids, or Wild Elves, as they were called by the people they enslaved. These were large and majestic underground city-states that inspired awe in anyone. Each city was ruled by its own king."

Skyblivion does not yet have a specific release date – work has been ongoing for many years. The modification is planned to be released on the GOG service.

At the end of last year, CD Projekt RED sold the GOG service, but its policy remained the same: the store will continue to support mod authors and preserve old video games.
