Acer has announced the Predator Atlas 8 – a portable gaming PC with Windows 11 Home OS, designed to run full PC games in a mobile format. The basic version of the device will feature an Intel Arc G3 chip with an Arc B370 GPU, while the advanced version will have an Intel Arc G3 Extreme and Intel Arc B390.

Thanks to AI-powered XeSS 3 upscaling technology, Multi-Frame Generation support, and the latest Intel Xe3 graphics architecture, Intel Arc G-series processors deliver smooth gameplay and high image quality with power consumption comparable to portable consoles.

Both versions of the new product will feature 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1 TB of M.2 2280 NVMe internal storage, and an 8-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, VRR support, 500 nits peak brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC.

The Predator Atlas 8 is equipped with a battery capacity of up to 80 Wh, and some models offer a 60 Wh option. The Predator AeroBlade cooling system combines airflow from two fans and vortex flow optimization, ensuring rapid heat dissipation and stable performance under load.

Adjustable trigger modes are provided. For example, you can activate microswitch mode for faster reactions in shooters or switch to analog control for racing, flight simulators, and other genres that require a wider range.

The portable device has full-size analog joysticks, Hall effect analog triggers, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules, a microSD UHS-II card slot, a standard 3.5 mm audio jack, two speakers, an improved voice capture system, a power button with a fingerprint sensor, a D-pad, ABXY buttons, and more.

The Acer Predator Atlas 8 is expected to be released in October 2026. Prices have not yet been announced, but the device is likely to be quite expensive. A trailer for the new product can be viewed on the Predator Gaming YouTube channel.
