MSI unveiled the Claw 8 EX AI+ portable device, which, like the Acer Predator Atlas 8, will use the powerful 14-core Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip with an Intel Arc B390 GPU.
The new product features an 8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10, and a pixel density of 283.02 ppi. Color variations: purple or blue.
The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ has 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1 TB of M.2 2280 NVMe internal storage, a Cooler Boost HyperFlow cooling system, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Windows operating system, and front-facing speakers.
The device features a new body design with updated grips designed to provide greater comfort during long gaming sessions, as well as Hall effect triggers and joysticks for more precise control. MSI states that the device incorporates a new 6-axis high-end linear motor for faster and better haptic feedback and "increased energy efficiency."
The company did not mention how long the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ can operate on a single battery charge, when the new product will be released, or how much such a device will cost.
