Recently, the developers of the global modification Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories reminded about themselves again. They hadn't published new materials for a long time, and now they announced the closure of the project.
Modders from the SASquad Team explained that "due to a number of reasons" development was difficult and eventually they reached a point where they could no longer move forward:
Therefore, we made the difficult decision to close SASquad Team. In this regard, the GTA SAS project is officially canceled. We sincerely thank you for the support you have given us throughout all these years. Thank you for being with us in this project and becoming part of this community.
SASquad Team will no longer support Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories. However, the modders are ready to transfer the project to other developers if anyone is interested.
The events of San Andreas Stories unfolded in 1989 during a conflict between several gangs:
Loco Syndicate is working to get Los Ballas and Los Vagos to cooperate, strengthening Los Vagos' position against Los Aztecas. The betrayal of a close friend Jose further complicates the struggle for power on the streets.
