Recently, a viewer of "Bratishkin" told him that the localization team he supported, "Soyuz za Kadrom," stopped sharing news about the Russian voice acting for Dispatch and added that "according to insiders, the voice acting project was closed." Earlier, the streamer invested about 300 thousand rubles in the production of unofficial localization.
Bratishkin reacted emotionally to this news:
What's up with our project, *****? When will the voice acting be released? I don't understand something. We allocated some money for Dispatch voice acting; with the selection of actors, which, by the way, they themselves showed. Now I'm told that there's no info, the guys aren't doing anything, and, according to rumors, they've shut down the project. I think: "how can a project be shut down if the money was collected?" What the ***** is this, hello? Will someone write me a comment, or what the *****?
Soon, the founder and head of the "Soyuz za Kadrom" voice acting studio got in touch and published a statement. Vladislav said that the team faced "serious difficulties" and since March of this year, work on Dispatch voice acting has been almost completely suspended:
This is due to my personal circumstances. Unfortunately, all the studio's logistics are currently tied to me: if I'm not at the workplace, the project doesn't move forward, regardless of funding. Now, however, I again have time for active work on the project.
The founder of "Soyuz za Kadrom" clarified that no one took the donations for themselves — they are used for localization production:
All collected funds — both from you, guys, and a large donation from Bratishkin — are purposefully in the budget and go exclusively to the localization of the game Dispatch and the development of the studio. I didn't hide with this money and have already shown the expenses to Bratishkin's moderator.
He also said that he is switching to a "weekly report" format — he will regularly share news.
Meanwhile, PC gamers have other options. NikiStudio and Studii Net are currently making two different Russian voice-overs for Dispatch and have already released several episodes. Work on localizations continues.
