The upcoming summer State of Play presentation will begin on June 3 at 00:00 Moscow time. In May, when Sony announced the event, the company stated that the broadcast would last more than an hour – featuring Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games, as well as other titles.
Analyst Daniel Ahmad from Niko Partners drew the community's attention to an unusual leak. Usually, before such presentations, a list of games (often fabricated) appears online, but now a photo of a menu has been published. This year, State of Play will be shown in cinemas, and viewers will be able to purchase dishes with thematic names. For example, in Marvel comics, there is a tropical land Savage Land, located in Antarctica; and "rage" may refer to the main character's ability:
- Savage Sticks – covered in garlic-basil oil, sprinkled with parmesan, served with marinara sauce
- Raage Pizza – includes San Marzano tomato sauce, pepperoni, bacon, sausage, roasted mushrooms, signature "cheese blend" and parmesan, as well as ranch sauce
- Last Stand – a cocktail containing vodka, coffee liqueur, demerara syrup (sweetener), and cold brew coffee
- Mutant Instinct – a cocktail of whiskey, mezcal, lime, and pineapple syrup.
Members of the PlayStation community joked that they would now be "desperately scanning the menu" for hidden spoilers for June's State of Play and asked if a season pass was offered on the menu.
Since Sony has already confirmed the showing of Marvel's Wolverine at the presentation, the appearance of Wolverine's image on the menu was not a "revelation" for those following the news.
Rumors suggest that a new God of War might be shown, in which Faye will replace Kratos.
