Developers from Firefly Studios have started teasing a new Stronghold game. Games in this franchise are real-time strategies set in a medieval world, allowing players to build their own castles with various fortifications and participate in sieges.
The studio published a teaser online and addressed the community:
Good morning, my lord! May the summer sun shine brightly on your harvest and all your endeavors. Interestingly, the winds bring news of something on the horizon... Could it be a new Stronghold? Be sure to tune into the PC Gaming Show on June 7th. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on! In the meantime, mark the date on your calendar and prepare for a new adventure!
Last year, players noticed that the trademark Stronghold: The Dark Ages was registered. It is believed that this will be the name of the new installment in the franchise.

Earlier this year, an expansion with new content, Baldwin & Bullseye, was released for the updated version of the strategy game Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, adding additional missions, AI lords, and more.
