Nine More Games Work Better on Switch 2 After Fixes
Nintendo has released another compatibility update for Switch 2. The company announced that several more games from the first Switch, which previously had issues on the new console, now work correctly.
According to the updated report, developers have fixed launch errors, performance issues, and individual function failures in several projects. Nintendo continues to regularly update its compatibility database, tracking both its own games and projects from third-party publishers.
The list of games that received fixes includes Buddy Collection if, Dragon Quest Builders, Laysara: Summit Kingdom, Monster Hunter Stories, Neon Inferno, Overcooked: All You Can Eat, This is Fine: Maximum Cope, Top Cop: Police Training, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
From the very beginning, Nintendo stated that Switch 2 supports most of the first Switch's library. However, due to hardware differences, some games required additional updates and optimization. The company is collaborating with publishers to gradually resolve remaining issues.
Nintendo also confirmed that it will continue to release new compatibility updates in the coming months. The company's goal is to ensure stable operation of almost the entire original Switch library on the new console.
