Sony and Codemasters studio have confirmed that the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack will receive enhanced PS5 Pro support. Developers stated a noticeable improvement in image quality thanks to an updated version of PSSR technology.

Codemasters reported that the integration of the new PSSR version went smoothly, and F1 25 received the PS5 Pro Enhanced mark from the very beginning. According to the developers, the technology allows for improved image quality without compromising performance.

On PS5 Pro, players can expect sharper images, improved track rendering, and expanded use of ray tracing. In quality mode, the game runs at 60 frames per second and offers ray-traced reflections, improved global illumination, and additional graphical effects. 120 Hz and 8K modes are also announced for compatible displays.

The developers paid special attention to the new urban track, Madring. It was created with modern technologies in mind and should best demonstrate the advantages of the updated PSSR and enhanced ray tracing on PS5 Pro.

The 2026 Season Pack will add the full 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship season, Audi and Cadillac teams, updated driver lineups, the Madring track, as well as gameplay changes related to active aerodynamics and a new overtaking mode.

The release of the add-on and F1 25: 2026 Season Edition will take place on June 3, 2026.
