Photographer Elena Vesania unexpectedly recalled the "Dragon Age" series. She published new photos intended for fans of the role-playing action game Dragon Age: Inquisition.
During her photoshoot, cosplayer Dmitry Barinov appeared as Cullen Stanton Rutherford — a templar warrior of the Ferelden Circle of Magi. It was he who, after the Fifth Blight, was transferred to the Kirkwall Circle of Magi and recruited by Cassandra Pentaghast into the Inquisition.
In Dragon Age: Inquisition, Cullen appears to the player as a mature, responsible military leader, ready to defend Thedas from an impending catastrophe. His face is adorned with a characteristic scar on his lip, reminiscent of the horrors he experienced in the past. Instead of standard templar armor, he wears unique, majestic Inquisition armor with a heavy fur collar and a lion pauldron.
Cullen's character combines strict military discipline with inner vulnerability. He is incredibly dedicated to his cause, honest, diligent, and demanding of both his subordinates and himself. Behind his stern and resolute demeanor in war councils hides a kind, caring, and traumatized person.
Due to tragic events of past years, Cullen suffered for a long time from distrust of mages and feelings of guilt, but by the time of "Inquisition," he actively fights his prejudices and strives for justice.
