The updated Tomb Raider game was presented in more detail at the State of Play presentation.
Viewers were shown how a rejuvenated Lara Croft tackles puzzles and overcomes obstacles. The heroine's arsenal will include a rope, swinging on structures, and parkour elements. The developers also demonstrated several locations: snowy territories, forests, desert areas, and swampy terrain. Judging by the showcase, there will be enough environmental diversity in the game.
The creators also did not change Lara Croft's appearance towards a "softened" design. The heroine retained the familiar image for the series.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released on February 12, 2027.
