It has been revealed that the game will feature a dark storyline, a brutal combat system, and will cost $69.99 for the standard edition and $79.99 for the Digital Deluxe edition.
Marvel's Wolverine will be a single-player action game with a new story for James "Logan" Howlett. The developers are focusing on a dark atmosphere, an emotional plot, and brutal battles.
The events will begin with an investigation into the abductions of mutants by the Reavers organization, a group of cybernetic mercenaries. Behind the operation is billionaire Bolivar Trask, who considers humans the superior race. Throughout the story, Logan will team up with Jean Grey, and the mutant group Team X, trying to survive in a dangerous world, will also appear among the characters.
Players will be able to act stealthily or engage in open combat, using claws and special moves like Tornado Spin and Bull Rush. Jean Grey will assist with telepathic abilities, and finishers and joint attacks will be available in battles.
An important part will be the Rage system. Successful attacks and eliminating enemies fill the rage meter, unlocking new abilities, accelerated regeneration, and Rage Tier 3 mode, inspired by the Black, White & Blood comic series.
