According to OpenCritic, Schrödinger's Call holds an average score of 9.4 out of 10. The project received maximum ratings from Niche Gamer, Cubed3, NintendoBoy, and Noisy Pixel. Journalists particularly praise the 2D graphics and the adventure's plot, crafted in the spirit of classic Japanese visual novels.

However, the game's position cannot yet be considered entirely stable. On OpenCritic, Schrödinger's Call has only 15 reviews, so a few lower scores could significantly change the average. Currently, the new release surpasses Mina the Hollower with a score of 9.2 out of 10 and Forza Horizon 6 with 9.1 out of 10.

The project also receives high ratings from players. On Steam, the game has 95% positive reviews. However, it is still a niche release: the peak online concurrent players reached 485, and according to Gamalytic, sales on the platform reached approximately 7300 copies.
