At the end of May, Paralives was released on PC via Steam in "early access" format. This is another life simulator in the vein of The Sims 4 from fans of the Maxis franchise.

The project has many complex mechanics, so players encounter a variety of bugs. There are quite common ones, such as corrupted saves — developers are currently addressing this, and in the meantime, they suggest players periodically make backup copies of their files.

There are also very specific bugs. For example, in Paralives, "a naked man named Charlie Parafolk can spawn in your house if you exit the game after childbirth without saving."

The creators of Paralives are aware of this issue and are working on a fix, and as a temporary solution, they suggest players manually delete Charlie via Paramaker using the EditCharacter cheat.

The developers have not yet specified when they plan to release an update with fixes for these and other bugs, which they discussed in a recent blog on Steam.

Overall, many players are satisfied with Paralives; the project received "very positive" reviews on Steam. The developers expect the game to remain in early access for about two years; they plan to gradually add new features and content, as well as fix bugs.
