Along with the September update, the game will feature a full-fledged single-player mode — one of the most requested features by the community. Users will be able to complete the entire storyline without participating in multiplayer sessions.

For single-player, the developers have prepared flexible difficulty settings. Players will be able to change the experience gain rate, enemy strength, and resource extraction pace.

The update will also conclude the first story arc, Book One. Players will be able to complete the story from start to finish either solo or on private or public servers.

The single-player mode will retain all content from the online version, including the Deep Desert region. However, the map will no longer reset, and structures will not disappear after each game cycle. Changes will also affect Coriolis storms — they will remain but become less destructive.

Additionally, Funcom confirmed support for Xbox Play Anywhere, shared progress between Xbox and the Microsoft Store version, as well as functionality via Xbox Cloud Gaming and ROG Xbox Ally.
