IO Interactive has confirmed the development of Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered – a collection of updated versions of the first games in the Agent 47 series. The project is being created in collaboration with Saber Interactive and will be released in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The bundle will include Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and Hitman: Contracts. The developers promise to preserve the key features of the originals: freedom of approach, multiple ways to eliminate targets, the use of disguises, and interaction with the environment.

The main innovation will be updated graphics. The games will feature improved character models, redesigned locations, and high-resolution textures. There will also be an option to instantly switch between classic and modern visual styles.

A photo mode will also be added to the collection. It will allow players to take screenshots during missions, explore updated locations, and capture the most unusual target eliminations.

According to the developers, HITMAN Classic Trilogy Remastered will serve as a reminder of the series' evolution – from its first experiments to the more refined stealth and dark atmosphere of later installments.
