Pre-order for low-poly Sonic statue from Sonic the Fighters by Good Smile Company now open

In 2026, collectors nostalgic for low-poly models and the fighting game Sonic the Fighters will receive a 14-centimeter statue of Sonic the Hedgehog from Good Smile Company, eager to fly to the Death Egg II base to fight Metal Sonic and Dr. Robotnik.

Good Smile Company unexpectedly remembered the fighting game Sonic the Fighters, also known as Sonic Championship. This refers to the 1996 game, which was released on the Sega Model 2B arcade machine and later ported and included in the Sonic Gems Collection for PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

The team has opened pre-orders for a statue of Sonic from this project, made in a low-poly style. Those wishing to purchase such a collectible item, made of plastic, will have to pay 5500 Japanese Yen (2527 rubles).

The statue is 14 cm tall. Good Smile Company employees will start shipping it in November 2026.

In Sonic the Fighters, which takes place in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, gamers can visit nine arenas and play as various characters, such as Tails, Amy Rose, Knuckles, Bark, and others. The gameplay of the project is identical to the Virtua Fighter series, where you need to press three buttons - for punches, kicks, and block.
