In March, a message appeared on the official Cyberpunk 2077 page, ruling out the release of new expansions. But in a June report by Erste Brokerage, a scenario emerged suggesting that the Polish studio is preparing several small DLCs for its futuristic RPG based on the previous engine version.
These assumptions align with recent statements by CD Projekt CFO Piotr Nielubowicz. During an earnings conference, he confirmed that the company is in advanced stages of developing two unannounced game projects and one non-gaming industry project.
Management clarified that the new releases will not be comparable in scale to major expansions for The Witcher 3, but their release is planned for this year. Earlier, analysts also noted an increase in spending on Cyberpunk 2077 support – to its highest level since the release of the "Phantom Liberty" expansion. This could indicate the development of new content in collaboration with Virtuos studio.
An additional argument was reports that actors recently recorded new lines for the game.
