GTA VI doesn't scare everyone: Atari and THQ Nordic prepare November releases

Most publishers try to stay away from the GTA VI release, but the first companies ready to release their games in November have already appeared. According to insider billbil-kun, these publishers are Atari and THQ Nordic.

Previously, State of Play and Summer Game Fest presentations created the impression that major new releases would avoid November due to the release of GTA VI. However, Atari decided to release Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3, 2026.

According to billbil-kun, the remaster will feature completely updated graphics, a redesigned content unlock system, online multiplayer, interactive arenas, and separate story campaigns for each kaiju. Physical editions for PS5 and Switch 2 are also expected. The digital version on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will cost $29.99, and on the Nintendo console – $39.99.

This is not the only project that will be released alongside GTA VI. On November 24, less than a week after the release of Rockstar Games' title, THQ Nordic will release Gothic 3 Classic on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
