Last year, 1C Game Studios talked about an in-game museum that would appear in the flight simulator “Korea. Il-2 Game Series”.
Now the developers have published a small gameplay trailer of the “Museum” – players will be able to get a closer look at aviation, technology, and the historical context of the Korean War within the game:
For a more convenient, interesting, and pleasant viewing experience, a new camera system is being implemented in the museum scene. You will be able to watch animated scenes of various equipment elements in action. For aircraft, you can even enable a “display” of weapons, as is usually done at exhibitions. Part of the panels can be removed from the aircraft's airframe to reveal the equipment behind them.
You can add “Korea. Il-2 Game Series” to your Steam wishlist via this link. Early access release is scheduled for June 25, 2026:
Become an ace by fighting on legendary machines, or rise higher – take the seat of a regimental commander. Lead squadrons, plot courses on the battlefield map, and issue orders to turn the tide of history. In the skies of Korea, you can be anyone: from a private pilot to a strategist deciding the outcome of the campaign. For the first time in the Il-2 series, full gamepad support has been implemented.
