Recent leaks have been confirmed. Polish Bloober Team is indeed preparing an expansion for the survival horror Cronos: The New Dawn, titled "Cronos: Lazarus".
Players will be invited to take on the role of the Warden and "play more aggressively and dynamically":
Return to the wastes and play as the once loyal Pathfinder on his journey to becoming the beloved Warden from the main game. Isolated in the Terminal, cut off from the Union, he will do everything to awaken the lost Essence he refuses to let go of. Oh, and don't think you have nothing to fear. A new hunter is already after you, created with the sole purpose of finding and destroying you.
The developers have prepared an information card for the Cronos: Lazarus DLC – players will be able to use new abilities and weapons, explore new locations, and delve deeper into the lore of Cronos: The New Dawn:
You can add Cronos: Lazarus to your Steam wishlist via this link. The exact release date has not yet been announced, but it is expected in "autumn 2026".
The developers also presented a trailer for the expansion:
