In late May, GamesVoice announced the production of Russian voice acting for the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (or "Phantom Liberty") expansion. The localizers intend to raise 3,002,077 rubles and they have achieved some success.

Currently, players have donated more than 1.5 million rubles to the studio – more than half of the required amount:

The progress bar is filling up so rapidly that we, on our part, have nothing substantial to report – too little time has passed to do anything significant on the project. But don't stop: the faster we reach 100%, the faster the voice acting itself will be released.

Currently, CD Projekt RED, together with Fool's Theory, are working on an expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is called Songs of the Past (or "Ballads of the Past"). GamesVoice suggests that the developers might draw conclusions from the situation with the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC and consider creating official voice acting:

Not everything is measured only by money. You all make an invaluable contribution! Who knows, perhaps everything that is happening will lead to us NOT having to localize the new expansion for The Witcher 3, as the developer will draw the necessary conclusions.
