Forward Development studio is preparing to launch the car simulator City Car Driving 2.0 in “early access” this month.
The developers addressed the community and explained why they decided to release their project in this format:
Creating a truly large-scale car simulator that will occupy its niche in the market requires significant resources. Early access will allow us to attract the necessary funds for the full implementation of all ideas. But there is a second, no less important reason: we want to hear your feedback and together with you plan the future of the game, making it exactly what players expect.
The initial version will be playable for “several hours” — it will feature the main city, three cars, traffic, steering wheel and gamepad support. The developers want to expand the game during “early access” and add the remaining part of the map, additional cars, mod support, and other game modes.
Add City Car Driving 2.0 to your wishlist on Steam via the following link. The release is scheduled for June 16, 2026. The price in Russia will be 1099 rubles and 30 dollars/euros in the USA / Europe, and for other countries, prices “will be adjusted according to regional pricing and may vary”.
