A major DLC with characters from the first part announced for Little Nightmares 3

Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have announced the first major expansion for Little Nightmares III. The Backstage DLC will be released on June 12, 2026, and will bring back some familiar characters from previous games in the series.

The events of the expansion will unfold in the gloomy backstage of The Carnevale, one of the most unsettling locations in the main game. The developers promise a new dose of surreal horror, puzzles, and dangers, as well as additional details about the world of The Spiral.

The published trailer showed new areas, including the backstage of the ominous amusement park, workshops with mannequins, and a huge kitchen where players will have to hide from another monster. Light will play an important role — it will help solve puzzles and protect against threats.

One of the features of the expansion will be the return of a pair of children from the DLC to the first Little Nightmares.

The Backstage will be the first of two chapters included in the Secrets of The Spiral season pass. The second expansion is planned for release between October and December 2026. The DLC can be purchased separately or as part of the pass. The release will take place on all platforms on June 12.
