Clockwork Revolution is set in Avalon — a steampunk city with stark social contrasts. On the outside, it looks impressive, but beneath the shiny facade lie crime, corruption, and a struggle for power. From the smoky streets of the Tangle district to the luxurious quarters of the elite — everything here has a price, and most often it is paid by the poorest residents.
The player will take on the role of Morgan Vanett. The character is created first, and the subsequent development of the plot, choices, and skills form a unique version of the story. The developers emphasize that the Morgan shown in the materials is just one of many possible variations.
The player is accompanied on their journey by the flying automaton Prentiss. This is not just a companion — he helps to understand the workings of the Chronometer, a device for controlling time. Prentiss has his own abilities, a skill tree, and additional ways to interact with the world.
A key game mechanic is time manipulation. The Chronometer unlocks special abilities that affect the environment. One of them is Displace, which allows objects to be instantly moved. In the demonstration, it was used to send an explosive barrel at enemies, but this is only part of the system's capabilities.
As the story progresses, the Rotten Row Hooligans group will appear — Ulysses, Nazim, Erasmus, Hazel, and Ann. These are not classic companions: each lives their own life and pursues their own goals, and changes in the past affect their destinies and relationships with the hero.
The main antagonist is Lady Ironwood, the ruthless ruler of Avalon, who has been using time travel to rewrite history for years. Her actions attract the attention of the Industrial Secret Service, and the conflict with her will be the central plotline.
The choice system is one of the key elements of the game. The world reacts to the player's decisions immediately or after a long time: characters, events, and even individual parts of reality change, as time travel creates alternative versions of history.
Clockwork Revolution combines RPG and first-person shooter with dynamic combat, heavy armored vehicles, flamethrowers, and time-manipulation abilities.
The release is scheduled for 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
