Recently, the authors of the NO LAW project published a new diary. They decided to talk about the creation of a location called Port Desire.
Creative director Arcade Berg said that although it is “a lawless place,” there is still a certain order here, as there are military forces from an external state, called “peacekeepers,” present in the Port:
They maintain the status quo because it benefits more powerful forces, but at the same time remain in conflict with bandits and mayors who run the city in their own way. If you want to understand deeper – what it is, why it happens, and why it makes the gardener so angry – you will have to find out for yourself.
Another creative director of the project, Tor Fick, said that attentive players will be able to notice small stories that the developers place in locations:
We have to create everything from scratch. And the more we build [the world], the more interconnected everything becomes. If you are the type of player who stops in a store, looks at a missing dog poster on the counter, and starts putting everything together, you will notice that there are a huge number of small stories scattered throughout the world.
You can add NO LAW to your Steam wishlist here. The release date has not yet been announced; the game is planned to be released not only on PC but also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
