Magic Fuel Games and Playstack recently announced Star Trek: Outposts Unknown. In this strategy game based on the Star Trek franchise, players will build outposts.

However, it's not a "sandbox" – the creators of Star Trek: Outposts Unknown position the new game as a story-driven experience. The developers will present an original story in the game. Chronologically, the events will unfold in the 23rd century, parallel to the era shown in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series:

The Star Trek: Outposts Unknown page on Steam is available at the following link. The developers have already released a demo with 3 hours of "story-driven gameplay" – players can get acquainted with the mechanics and explore the planet Daegus.
