Ivan Zharkov's reaction led players to certain conclusions.

A new episode of the podcast "Aktorskaya Kurilka" was recently released on the YouTube channel of the same name. One of the guests was voice actor Ivan Zharkov.

During the Q&A session, a donation came in from an interested viewer — he asked about the Russian voice-over for Marvel's Wolverine:

"Ivan, have you seen the new Wolverine game? Which voice actor, in your opinion, is best suited for the character in the game?"

The actor's reaction to this question raised certain suspicions among players. At that moment, Ivan Zharkov began to smile and "blushed," so many decided that he was involved in the creation of the Russian voice-over.

Ivan did not directly confirm anything, but usually in such cases, actors sign a non-disclosure agreement, so he could not give an unambiguous "yes." Sony has not yet published information about the localization list on the Marvel's Wolverine page in the PS Store.

Ivan Zharkov has an extensive track record of roles. He previously worked on a Sony game — Ghost of Tsushima (Jin Sakai), and Escape from Tarkov fans know him as Tagilla, the boss of the Scavs. He also played Lambert in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The moment with this question to Ivan Zharkov can be seen in this episode of "Aktorskaya Kurilka" at the 1-10-08 mark:
