Crossover with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Helped Wuthering Waves Set a Steam Record

The Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover has already yielded its first results.

After the update, the game set a new popularity record on Steam — almost 49 thousand people were simultaneously playing it. The project also rose to the top of the platform's sales charts.

As part of the collaboration with CD Projekt RED, developers from Kuro Games added not only characters from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, including David, Rebecca, and Lucy, but also entire locations from the Cyberpunk 2 universe to Wuthering Waves.

Players can now explore Night City directly in Wuthering Waves. Kuro Games studio created a story and organically integrated Cyberpunk elements into its own world.

Recall that Wuthering Waves will be released on Xbox in July.
