The release of Gothic 1 Remake recently took place. The project received many positive reviews from "Gothic" fans and newcomers, but the game has certain technical issues.
Gothic 1 Remake studio has not yet released a patch for the PC version, but updates are already available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro consoles. The "Gothic" community manager spoke about the implemented improvements:
- A new feature has appeared – players will be able to disable frame rate limits: "This feature is experimental and is currently recommended for use only on Series X and PS5 Pro."
- Fixes and stability improvements have been made for all 4 consoles (a detailed description of the fixed bugs was not provided).
More detailed information about future updates, including for the PC version of the "Gothic" remake, is planned to be shared "soon".
Gothic 1 Remake was released on PC without Denuvo protection and was quickly cracked on release day, but Steam online metrics show that this did not prevent the successful launch of the updated classic.
