TRIMUI today released a special trailer, allowing gamers to get acquainted with vertical handheld consoles such as the Brick Hammer Pro U and Brick Pro.
The Brick Hammer Pro features a metal body (CNC-machined), a Snapdragon G2 Gen1 chip (2.4 GHz), an Adreno A21 GPU, a 3.95-inch IPS display (1024 × 768, 60 Hz, 324 PPI), 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, Android OS, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.1 + EDR 2.1.
It has Hall effect joysticks, ALPS action buttons, replaceable shoulder buttons, USB 3.0 Type-C, and a 6-axis gyroscope. This is a powerful device that will likely be able to emulate some PS2 games. The console will be available in three colors: black, gray, and silver.
The Brick Pro will feature an Allwinner A133P chip (1.8 GHz), a PowerVR GE8300 GPU, a 3.95-inch IPS screen (1024 × 678, 60 Hz, 324 PPI), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, Linux OS, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 Type-C, and Bluetooth 4.2 + EDR 2.1.
It is made of plastic, so it will certainly be cheaper and lighter than the Brick Hammer Pro U, while retaining many modern features: Hall effect joysticks, the same action buttons, and triggers. Color options: black, white, and retro gray.
Prices and release dates for the aforementioned consoles have not yet been announced, unfortunately.
