You can play a Diablo-like game in the occult Wild West for free on Steam
The developers of The Dark West invited players to test the ARPG.
Black Hand studio recently reminded about The Dark West project. They presented a demo version of the Diablo-like (ARPG) game in the style of a dark western.
The game's events unfold on the frontier (Wild West), which has been engulfed by corruption — players will have to survive in harsh conditions:
Late 19th century. The world is already rotting from within. Greedy mining has unearthed something ancient underground, unleashing corruption, dark gods, and monsters. All systems of The Dark West grow out of the frontier itself. You are not a savior. You are just another soul, a Witness, trying to survive in a dying world where luck means as much as faith, power always demands a price, and every step becomes a gamble in the all-consuming darkness.
The Dark West page on Steam is available at the following link. The developers have not yet announced the exact release date of the game. In early June, they noted a new milestone — the project has already gathered 75 thousand wishlists.
Earlier, the developers talked about the loot system. During adventures, players will be able to use various models of weapons and equipment. Items are divided by different "quality" options and will include "Masterwork" items — such items are generated with pre-selected, fixed modifiers.
