40 minutes of Halo: Campaign Evolved gameplay in 4K and 60 FPS has appeared. The developers showed new footage of the campaign remake and for the first time demonstrated the ability to play the game in third-person.

Players have access to an extensive fragment of the campaign from the pre-release version. The video allows for a detailed look at the updated graphics: improved lighting, more detailed locations, new visual effects, and redesigned models. At the same time, the authors have preserved the atmosphere of the original Halo: Combat Evolved.

Particular attention was drawn to the second video — it showed the third-person mode for the first time.

Halo Studios added that the classic first-person view remains the primary one, but the new perspective will be an additional option. The game will also feature modifiers and replayability improvements.

The remake remains a faithful version of the original story, but with updated graphics, controls, and additional content. Three missions featuring Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson have been added to the campaign, as well as new weapons, vehicles, enemies, and skulls that change gameplay.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is scheduled for release on July 28, 2026.
