Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Received Final Update
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 received the Summer Update along with the release of The Flower & The Flame DLC, after which The Chinese Room developers concluded active support for the game.
The Flower & The Flame DLC was released on June 10, 2026. Simultaneously, the studio released the Summer Update, which became the last major patch for the project.
The main character of the DLC is Isabella Moore, a Toreador clan member, artist, and influencer from the main campaign. She received her own storyline and combat style based on firearms and high mobility.
The update also added Photo Mode. It allows players to stop time, freely control the camera, and take screenshots.
The ability to disable the interface and enemy health bars was added, as well as Noir Mode, which turns the game into a black-and-white detective thriller.
Serious changes affected the combat system: characters can now pick up and use firearms, ammunition appeared, the ability to hide weapons, NPC and police reactions, and dual-wielding pistols.
The Summer Update also fixes many bugs — from mission and save issues to optimization and stability. Bugs causing freezes, FPS drops on video cards with 8 GB VRAM, and quest failures have been eliminated.
At the end of the update, the developers confirmed that the Summer Update and The Flower & The Flame are the final points of support for Bloodlines 2. The team thanked the community and noted that the game's future life now depends on fans and modders.
