The developers of "Korea. Il-2 Series" have postponed the game's release after closed beta testing. The full launch is now scheduled for August 4, 2026, but pre-order owners will be able to start playing earlier.

According to the authors, feedback from beta participants prompted the team to take additional time to refine the project. To avoid leaving pre-order customers without content, an early access version will be released on June 25.

It will include a limited set of single-player combat missions and three basic mission types in mission editor mode. Players will also gain access to multiplayer team deathmatch and a stripped-down version of the training mode, in which only four aircraft will be available. Four more aircraft will be added in the full version.

From June 25, users will get access to all graphics technologies, including FSR, DLSS, OpenVR, OpenXR, and ray tracing.

The developers also presented a new trailer dedicated to the first stage of the Korean War. The video shows the superiority of American aviation over the outdated aircraft of China and North Korea. The situation changed after the appearance of Soviet MiG-15s.

The game launches on August 4, 2026
