Santorini is a board game about building an ancient Greek town under the guidance of gods. The game board, a 5x5 grid, is initially completely empty. The goal of the gamers is to move one of two workers and construct building levels.
The main goal is to get your worker to the third level of a partially built building and prevent your opponent from doing the same. The main catch is that buildings can be four stories high: by building a dome, a player blocks that building both for further construction and for moving onto it. In all this, participants are helped by gods, each of whom has an ability that radically changes the rules of the game.
