After the confirmation of Gears of War: E-Day's exclusivity to Xbox Series X|S and PC, some PS5 owners are trying to get the game released on their platform. A special petition has been created for this purpose, but it has not generated much interest.

Reports circulated online about a ready version of the game for PS5, which was allegedly canceled after a decision by Xbox management. PlayStation fans launched a petition asking for Gears of War: E-Day to be released on Sony's console. In a week, it gathered fewer than 300 signatures.
