The release is scheduled for July 28, 2026, but the project is already actively being pre-ordered on PS5. In several European countries, the game holds high positions in PlayStation stores.
In the UK, the standard edition ranks first among pre-orders, while the Premium Edition is fourth. In France, the Premium version leads, and in Germany, the standard edition.
In the US, the Premium Edition is in seventh place, trailing Madden NFL 27, EA Sports College Football 27, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and Marvel’s Wolverine.
Interest in the game may continue to grow. Developers have confirmed a full third-person campaign playthrough, as well as updated graphics, new missions, and a revamped Halo: Combat Evolved.
For Microsoft, the situation is ambiguous: the company is simultaneously returning some games to exclusivity, but Halo is already showing commercial potential on PlayStation.
