Behaviour Interactive concluded its 10th Anniversary Broadcast for Dead by Daylight, revealing numerous announcements for the game, which has turned 10 years old. The broadcast covered future collaborations, new modes, a movie, and a major graphical update planned for 2027.
One of the main announcements was a movie based on Dead by Daylight. Director Tordur Palsson joined the project. Filming is planned for 2027.
New content was also shown: the chapter The Life Road will be released on June 25 and will add survivor Shane Vigwaas. The chapter Chorus of Sin will start on August 25, 2026. In September 2024, Supermassive Games released the spin-off The Casting of Frank Stone, and now a separate chapter based on it is being prepared for March 2027.
The Black Banquet event will run from June 25 to July 16. A new mall map will appear in December, and crossovers with Diablo IV and Scooby-Doo have been announced. Lilith will appear as a skin for The Artist, and a Mystery Inc. costume was also shown.
Behaviour confirmed: Dead by Daylight 2 is not in development. Instead, the game will receive mod support, new modes (1v1 and Zombie Mode), and dynamic weather in 2027.
Collaborations with Ice Nine Kills and Iron Maiden were also announced, new skins for The Walking Dead and Silent Hill f, and in November 2026, Art the Clown from Terrifier will be added to the game.
The biggest update is a visual remaster. It will be released in 2027 and will include reworked models, animations, lighting, facial animations, weather, and fog effects.
